Speech Competitions Begin

Large group district speech will take place at Storm Lake High School on Saturday, January 21.

Harris-Lake Park has 22 participants entered in 6 categories. Here are the paricipants:

Short Film (Robbery Gone Awry- Cale Hellinga, Bryce Perkins, Keegan Carpenter), Short Film (How to Survive a Horror Film: Teenage Girl Edition- Bryce Schott, Jada SanSousi, Katelyn Loring, Elizabeth Newton, Sadie Breitbach), Improv- Avery Heikens, Blake Gunderson, Skylar Forbes, Jazmin Voehl), Ensemble Acting (Doubt: A Parable- Abdulla Elbuytari, Kaitlyn Vysockil, Adrian Martin), Radio News KDST- Blake Gunderson, Katelyn Loring, Avery Heikens, Skylar Forbes, Zach Heikens, Bri Ihnen, Bryce Perkins, Keegan Carpenter), Radio News KMNT- James Harmon, Sadie Breitbach, Brandon Bunkers, Aaron Erne, Isaac Ihnen, Cale Hellinga, Dalton Nicks, and Jazmin Voehl)

Coach Travis Sprague commented, “We are a young squad so our first goal is to perform well.  For a lot of these kids it's their first performance.  My second goal is for everyone to have fun.”
